The new version of our very successful Primary School Website has been highly acclaimed by all that have seen it. Building upon the success of its predecessor the new site is a joy to browse and maintain and is arguably head and shoulders above anything else out there. Schools who take on the website do so in the knowledge that they will stand out!

The site’s generic design not only looks highly professional but is particulary easy to navigate. The graphics and colours used are fully customised to each school, as can be seen from the two home pages displayed above.

The back-end content management system with its unique Control Centre is straightforward to operate and allows different sections of the school community to log-in and update predetermined areas of the website. The security profiling is flexible and under the control of the headteacher.

Creating new content for the site and updating existing content is a straightfordward process involving the completion or editing of forms. Forms are designed with drop down choice menus to help increase speed and ensure the correct data entry. Each form is programmed with appropriate validation code to ensure the entry of critical data. This leads to a highly user-friendly system that can be operated by teachers, governors and parent association representatives alike with a minimum of training. The above image shows the form used to create news and home page articles. If the main text is first typed into Word and then copied and pasted into the form a news article need only take a minute to produce!

One of the most enjoyable features of the site is the Slide Show Page. Slide shows of ten large images can be easily created , within the CMS, and sound tracks attached. Once a slide show is selected it auto-plays accompanied by the sound track. Excellent for portraying school trips and events!
